This time of year, there are two things I find particularly therapeutic. First, listening to instrumental-only holiday music. Second, automating all the things I don't want to do anymore. The end of the year is a great time to make a list of tasks that have built up throughout the year—sending the same messages, copying data between tools, chasing approvals, updating spreadsheets—and then setting up the automations to get them off your plate for next year. And you can keep the Muzak on while you do it. |
